Stephanie was born in 1985 on the beautiful Island of Curaçao (Antilles). She comes from a very creative family, which awakened a love for dancing and singing at an early age. At the age of 10 she moved to the Netherlands with her mother and little sister. Of all places in the Netherlands, they ended up in Friesland where she finished her high school.
Stephanie made a decision to move to The Hague in 2004, to broaden her horizon; She completed her European Studies at The Hague University of Applied Science and also her second study in 2009, Media & Entertainment Management at Inholland, also in The Hague. Stephanie decided to follow her dream and use the talents she inherited from her family. In 2006 she started her career as DivineMelody aka DiVine, a vocal MC.
Next to singing on lounge, soulful house, deep house, nu house, house classics, future house, disco, tech house and house music, DiVine used to perform in a gospel band in Friesland in 2001. In 2002 she was part of the rock band called “Divine Melody” and in 2007/2008 she rocked in the Dutch Hip Hop group called “Vadis Music”.
Finally, DiVine came to that point in life where she wanted to be. After a huge success as MC in Madrid and winning third prize in the Fresh Cotton/Sneakerz MC Contest in 2008 for a contract at 1Management. This was one of the biggest agencies in the Netherlands, back in the days. Baby steps became giant steps! In 2013 DiVine transformed herself into an amazing vocal-dj and started producing her own tracks with other talented producers.
DiVine has performed with big names like Quintino, Larry Tee, Ron Caroll, Tommie Sunshine, La Fuente, Mr Belt & Wezol, Ferreck Dawn, Dennis Quin, Simon Dunmore, Biggi, Fedde Le Grand, The Shapeshifters, Stonebridge, Hardwell, Franky Rizardo, The Bingo Players, Dirtcaps, Lucien Foort, Baggi Begovic, Gregor Salto, Sidney Samson, Erick E, Roog, Carita la Nina, Tony Cha Cha, Miss Monica, Jean, D-Rashid, Billy the Kit, Michael Mendoza, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Faya to name a few.
She performed at big events and clubs like Sneakerz, DODO Festival, Lakedance, Loveland, Framebusters, Toffler: The Boom Room|SLAM!, ADE, Betty Ford Memorial, Flirtation, Terug Naar Toen, Happy Feelings, Solar, Guilty Pleasure Festival, Oerol Festival, Kwaku Festival, Pillar Festival, Milkshake Festival, Club Versuz, Dutchweek/SLAM!, Valtifest, Bungalup, Prides (in the Netherlands and abroad), Mysteryland, True Colors, Ploegendienst, Sparkling, Roze Zaterdag, HIM Festival, Liquid Kiddy, WTF, Kiss Bang, Amsterdams Verbond Festival, Oranje Bitter Festival, Club NYX, Cornelis Borrel, Chin Chin Club, Whoosah, Colorado Charlie, Toffler, and many more. Before the corona you could admire DiVine as the resident lounge DJ at Minglemush in Den Haag and Hugh in Rotterdam.
She also had international performances in Belgium, Germany, Portugal, France, Curaçao, Aruba, Norway, Vienna, Austria, Sitges BCN, Ibiza & Madrid.
Divine also had her own first event “Club Xtra” in 2020 at Jack in Rotterdam, which was sold out. An awesome sitdown event, with some good food and good music. Then came corona, so she couldn’t continue the party. She will be back with the event in 2021.

In 2019 DiVine started her own label “Neon House Music”. Neon House Music a brand new label in the dance industry. ‘Neon House Music does not box itself in genres. Music is what color sounds like... She sees color in every kind of Music.’
She had some amazing dj support in 2019 on her tracks from artists like: Hardwell, Stonebridge, Hatiras, Low Steppa, David Guetta, Marco Carola, Benny Benassi, Mr V., Claptone, Nicky Romero, Mike Mago, Claptone, Kryder, Merk & Kremont, Tommie Sunshine, Robbie Rivera just to name a few.
DiVine her biggest single release in 2020, was “Ravin” on the UK based label Simma Black (of label boss Low Steppa). It got charted #4 essential TECH, #31 HYPE CHART and #48 Weekend Weapons on Traxsource. Got 20k streams on Spotify.
It was in the UK Billboards Music Week Cool Cuts top20 for 2 weeks in a row in September. It went up from n#19 to #15.
Ravin got supported by amazing artists like: Marco Carola, Low Steppa, Paco Osuna, Kryder, Claude VonStroke, Claptone, Johan S, Vanilla Ace, just to name a few. It was added to the Spotify playlists of Axwell, Gianluca Vacchi and Michael Calfan.
DiVine is also invited every month as a guest DJ at SLAM! Mixmarathon, MIX@SIX or Club Onderste Boven. Check out her Mixcloud or Soundcloud for all her live mixes. DiVine is is also now the resident MC/DJ for SLAM! “Housuh in de Pauzuh” since 2019. She forms this act together with her buddy DJ Elaine.
