Building a loyal and fanatical fan-base through their richly distinct and unique progressive sound, few acts in the electronic dance music scene can quite command the same level of respect and attention as British pair, Third Party.
Made up of Jonnie Macaire and Harry Bass, the UK producers are best known for their incredible live productions, and euphoric tracks, including most recent studio album ‘HOPE’; widely regarded as one of the finest dance productions of recent generations – accumulating over 50million streams worldwide. Starting their careers with remix duties for the likes of Tiësto and Swedish House Mafia, the latter soon invited the Essex duo to play at their iconic Masquerade Motel show in Miami, with a further performance at their ‘One Night Only’ event at Alexandra Palace.
Following productions on Steve Angello’s SIZE Records, Third Party soon began to launch music under their own ‘Release’ label, with the imprint since hosting several sold-out evenings at the likes of London’s iconic Ministry of Sound club, with upcoming talents like Corey James, Will K, Sentinel, and Pete K all releasing tracks on the label, which has also spawned podcast series, ‘Release Radio.’
Cementing their reputation as one of the most exciting and innovative talents in dance music right now, Jonnie and Harry continue to blitz all before them thanks to their unique blend of big-room and progressive influences, with 2017 album ‘HOPE’ spawning several huge and iconic anthems, including ‘Live Forever’, ‘Have No Fear’, and Martin Garrix collaboration ‘Lions In The Wild.’
Bringing their sold-out LIIIVE show to Liverpool Olympia in early 2018, the duo showcased their dynamic diversity, using synths, drum machines and sample pads for the first time, clad with a special stage design bearing the image of their famous logo, made up of three horizontal lines. With the pair also using the design during a very special set at Ultra Korea 2018, the anticipation builds for the release of Third Party’s eagerly awaited second studio album, which will play home to latest release ‘Free’; a spacious stadium smash, sampling the vocal snippet from Rozalla’s dance classic ‘Everybody’s Free.’
Laced with that signature Third Party sound, the eclectic pair are influenced by those timeless 90’s vocal twists and 80’s elements found in tracks like ‘Everyday of My Life’ and ‘Without You’, with the duo citing Eric Prydz as a key inspiration in their fluid-like genre-crossing sound.
Playing across numerous worldwide stages including Brixton Academy, Creamfields, Third Party have set the bar reassuringly high for their future movements, offering fans a guiding light into the future of dance music, and solidifying their reputation as one of the most exciting talents in the electronic industry.
