When David Coverdale left Deep Purple he started his own project; Whitesnake. First founded on Blues later Whitesnake turned to Rock and Metal, always with a touch of Blues. It all started with the 1977 album 'David Coverdale's Whitesnake'. In 1978 Whitesnake entered the charts with the single 'Ain't No Love In The Heat of The City' from the album Snakebite. With guitarist John Sykes Whitesnake became one of the biggest Rock bands on planet Earth. Album '1987' broke many records with hits such as 'Still Of The Night', 'Is This Love' and the 1982 remake of 'Here I Go Again'. In 2008 Whitesnake released their latest album 'Good To Be Bad'. Thirty years after their first album, they are still goin' strong.
