Anna of the North is Anna Lotterud, an electropop artist whose work inhabits a warm, hazy atmosphere. A native of Gjøvik, Norway, the musician met New Zealand producer Brady Daniell-Smith at one of his shows while studying in Melbourne, Australia. They hit it off and recorded her debut single, "Sway," over Skype, and released it in 2014. The song became an Internet hit, and landed her record deals with +1 Records/Honeymoon in the U.S. and [PIAS]'s Different Recordings in the U.K. She followed up the song with "The Dreamer" and "Baby," both in 2016.
