Clean Bandit is a band with four core members who call on an array of vocal collaborators to create their unique sound. The culture clash of bass, beats and soaring strings evokes memories of classic Massive Attack and their live shows, when they are joined by crazy dance crews, evokes classic Basement Jaxx yet all this is done with a brand new twist.
So far this year they have supported Redlight, Big Boi and Rudimental alongside appearing at: Secret Garden Party, Bestival and Field Day. As well making music, their own videos, running their own record label and DJing they also run a successful club night called National Rail Disco, for which they’ve booked James Blake, Deadboy, Pariah, and Submerse amongst others.
Debut release "Mozart’s House" on their own label Incredible Industries achieved great support from DJs like Nick Grimshaw, Annie Mac, Rob Da Bank, Huw Stephens, John Kennedy, Eddie Temple Morris and Fearne Cotton. The self directed/produced music video for their second single "UK Shanty" was commissioned by Channel 4, featuring supermodel Lily Cole as a mermaid-siren, was premiered on the channel's Random Acts programme.
