First Date is a Danko Jones coverband. No look-a-like show, but a tribute to fast rockmusic, rock 'n roll and Danko Jones. After years of being acquainted via all kinds of live performances throughout the country, the three south-based Dutch rock musicians have decided to join forces. The result: Fast, hard and untiring they play well known Dank Jones songs, such as: 'Baby Hates Me', 'First Date' and 'Code of the Road'. An evening of hard partying guaranteed!

The talent of the band is being recognized by Danko Jones himself too. 'First Date would be exactly the kind of band I would go see live. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is something about their music that just speaks to me'.
